SD WATER LAB offers optimized cooling water treatment programs. These specially formulated programs help safeguard your cooling systems against scaling, corrosion, and microbial growth.
Passivation Chemicals
These chemicals are applied in cooling towers to form a protective passivation layer before starting the cooling tower treatment program. They are typically used in new systems or in existing systems following a cleaning process.
SD WATER LAB'S cooling tower passivation chemicals include SDLAB 102, SDLAB 105 & SDLAB 108.
Bio Dispersants
These chemicals help disperse microorganisms in cooling water systems. Once dispersed, the biocides act to eliminate the microorganisms and prevent the formation of biofilms in the system.
SD WATER LAB Cooling tower bio dispersants include SDLAB 4022, SDLAB 4023 & SDLAB 4024.
Multifunctional Product
These chemicals combine corrosion inhibitors and scale inhibitors, providing effective protection against scaling and corrosion in cooling systems.
SD WATER LAB’S cooling tower multifunctional chemicals include SDLAB 353 & SDLAB 344
Non-Oxidizing Biocides
These chemicals are used to prevent the growth of bacteria, algae, fungi, and other microorganisms in cooling water systems. SD WATER LAB offers a variety of non-oxidizing biocides, selected based on the type and severity of microbiological growth in the system.
SD WATER LAB'S non oxidising biocides include SDLAB 4058, SDLAB 4849, SDLAB 4848 (algaecide) & SDLAB 4850.
Cooling System Descaling Compounds
These chemicals serve as cleaning agents for scaled cooling systems. SD WATER LAB provides various descaling compounds, chosen based on the type of scale and the system’s metallurgy.
SD WATER LAB cooling system descaling chemicals include SDLAB 1940 & SDLAB 420.
Chilled Water & Close Loop Corrosion inhibitors
These chemicals, typically based on nitrite, molybdate, silicate, or organic compounds, are added to chilled water circuits to prevent corrosion in these systems.
SD WATER LAB close loop corrosion inhibitors include SDLAB 4317, SDLAB 4382 & SDLAB 4710.
Mild Steel & Stainless-Steel Corrosion Inhibitors
These chemicals are added to cooling towers to protect MS, SS, GI pipelines, and other system components from corrosion. They are typically formulated with zinc and orthophosphate.
SD WATER LAB MS & SS corrosion inhibitors include SDLAB 4064, SDLAB 4133 & SDLAB 4191.
Oxidizing Biocides
These chemicals are used to control the formation of bacteria, algae, fungi & various other micro-organisms which can occur in a cooling water system. SD WATER LAB provides different ranges of oxidizing biocides depending upon the nature & degree of the microbiological growth in the system.
SD WATER LAB cooling tower oxidizing biocides include SDLAB 4050 (solid chlorine biocide). SDLAB 4051, SDLAB 4052 (precursor for chlorine dioxide) & SDLAB 4053.
SD WATER LAB’S cooling tower antiscalents include SDLAB 4026, SDLAB 4034, SDLAB 4042 & SDLAB 4043.
Oxidizing Biocides
These chemicals are added to systems operating at higher water temperatures (55–80 °C) to prevent corrosion. As corrosion rates rise with temperature, these chemicals provide robust protection in such environments.
SD WATER LAB'S hot water corrosion inhibitors include SDLAB 519 & SDLAB 520.
Yellow Metal Corrosion Inhibitors
These chemicals are closed in the cooling towers to prevent corrosion from happening in the Copper/Amiralty Brass/Cupper Nickel pipelines & other parts of the cooling systems. These corrosion inhibitors are azole-based chemicals.
SD WATER LAB'S Yellow metal corrosion inhibitors include SDLAB 566 & SDLAB 567.
Alkalinity Reducers
These chemicals are closed in the cooling water system to maintain the pH of the recirculating water.
SD WATER LAB'S cooling tower alkalinity reduces include SDLAB 4202, SDLAB 4203 & SDLAB 4204.
